What Mum Keeps in Her Pocket

Hunting for the perfect present, the child discovers that the pocket of mum's old coat has no bottom, and that everything pulled out of it plays back the day it came from: a bus ticket from a rainy zoo trip, a smooth grey pebble, a scribbled drawing that was supposed to have gone in the bin. Every single thing in there turns out to be something the child once gave her, kept for the day rather than the gift.
