Who you are dealing with
CubFable is the trading name of a sole trader based in Ireland. You can reach us at [email protected]. These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
What you are buying
One personalised storybook, written and illustrated to your instructions, then printed, bound and posted to the address you give us. Delivery to the country you order for is included in the price shown, within the window stated at the checkout for that country.
How it is made
The story and the illustrations are generated by AI from the details you provide. No two books are identical, and the exact wording and artwork cannot be specified in advance. Books written from your own idea pause once the story exists so you can read it and either continue or correct your request before anything is illustrated.
Payment and timing
Payment is taken once, at the price shown before you start. Nothing is generated before payment. The expected delivery window is stated at the checkout and in your confirmation email; it is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Changes and cancellation
A book is made to order and personalised, so once it has been generated it cannot be resold and is not returnable. If something is wrong with what arrives, contact us and we will put it right.
Digital copies
When you buy the digital copy, you ask us to start making it and to deliver it online the moment it is ready. Because it is personalised and delivered digitally, you agree at the checkout that once we have started making it you no longer have the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to a purchase made online. Nothing is posted with a digital copy. You can add the printed hardcover of the same story afterwards; that is a separate order, priced at the printed price for the country it is posted to.
Acceptable use
You must be 18 or over to order. Only upload photographs you have the right to use, and only of people who are happy to appear in the book; for a child, that means you are their parent or guardian or have the parents' agreement. Do not ask for stories that are hateful, sexual, violent, or that use another person's likeness without their agreement. We may refuse or cancel an order on those grounds and refund it.
